Designer Cheryl Sedaker started sewing at the age of 5 at the knee of her Grandmother, Nonnie. By her teenage years, she was making her own clothes and for other people.
She graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology, Cornell University and has a Masters from University of Connecticut specializing in Clothing and Textiles.
Her thirst for continuing education keeps Cheryl up-to-date on the latest methods and trends. She has completed extensive courses at the Window Coverings Association of America, Custom Home Furnishings Academy, Custom Workroom Conferences and Workroom Tech.
Cheryl has a passion for decoration and the creative use of fabric and embellishments. She will design pillows, cushions, roman shades, draperies and valances; her specialty is engineering soft furnishings in patterns according to the client’s specifications.
SeaCheryl Designs was created after she left Corporate America in 2005. Her desire was to return to her love affair with fabric and soft home furnishings.
Cheryl is a proud member of Business Network International and Cape Cod Women’s Association (CCWA).
